Chief Financial Officer

Job Description

The CFO will play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy and ensuring the financial health of the company. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in finance leadership, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of the cryptocurrency and technology sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies to support the companys growth objectives and operational needs. Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee the annual budgeting process, financial forecasting, and variance analysis. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Financial Reporting and Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial statements, reports, and analyses to stakeholders.
• Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks, including market, operational, and credit risks. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Capital Management: Manage the companys capital structure, funding, and investment strategies. Oversee treasury functions, including cash flow management and debt financing.
• Investor Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, analysts, and financial institutions. Communicate the companys financial performance and strategy to external stakeholders.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Ensure the development and retention of top talent.
• Technology Integration: Leverage financial technology solutions to enhance financial processes and decision-making. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and their potential impact on the business.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. CPA or CFA designation is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in senior financial leadership roles, preferably within the technology, cryptocurrency, or energy sectors.
• Skills: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Excellent financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting skills. Proficient in financial software and systems.
• Leadership: Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the cryptocurrency market, blockchain technology, and the regulatory landscape. Experience in managing large-scale operations and capital-intensive projects.
