About the job Sr Ops Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be accountable to make decisions to ensure operational orders are delivered in accordance with the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), with the authority and ability to source and procure inventory as required.
  • Working closely and communicating continually with Client to provide detailed and accurate feedback to all the operational orders.
  • To ensure all aspects of Materials, Procurement and Inventory Management are efficiently and effectively processed within the pre-determined parameters laid down by the SLAs.
  • Act as the Operational Focal Point but fully supported by the Senior Operations Director and team in LGW, for all 3PL support, ensuring the operations does not fall below SLAs.
  • Line Manager to the two On-Site Operational Specialists located at Clients warehouse facility.
  • Identify, recommend and deliver continuous improvement initiatives to further enhance performance to the Client.
  • Report any issues to the Manager in a timely manner
  • Understand and contribute to ensuring departmental and company targets are met
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety guidelines and Quality responsibilities
  • Adhere to all procedures and processes
  • Ensure the work areas are kept in a clean and tidy condition
  • As business needs dictate, the post holder may be required to undertake additional duties of a level commensurate with their existing responsibility.
