Junior Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. As a Junior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial records and contributing to the overall financial health of our organization. Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents accurately and in a timely manner.
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and supporting schedules.
• Assist in financial analysis and reporting tasks as required by management.
• Help maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting-related inquiries and discrepancies.
• Support the senior accounting team in various ad-hoc projects and tasks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Previous experience in accounting or finance roles preferred, though fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
