Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and initiatives that support the company's overall strategic objectives.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
- Develop and maintain effective employee relations programs, including conflict resolution, grievance handling, and disciplinary procedures.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
- Coordinate and conduct employee training and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and industry standards related to employment, health, and safety.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including attendance, leave, and performance evaluations.
- Manage the payroll process and ensure timely and accurate payment of wages and salaries.
- Handle employee inquiries and concerns regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop workforce plans to meet production targets.
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in HR management and incorporate them into the company's HR strategy.
Qualifications and Skill Set:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or HR certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as an HR Manager, HR Generalist, or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in the steel fabrication industry.
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and benefits administration.
- Strong understanding of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements applicable to the manufacturing sector.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with employees, managers, and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
