Production Head - Stitching Unit

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Production Head to oversee our stitching unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background and proven leadership skills to manage the team and ensure efficient production processes. You will be responsible for maintaining high-quality standards, optimizing production efficiency, and ensuring timely delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a stitching unit with a workforce of 40-45 members, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Oversee production planning, scheduling, and execution to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure all products meet the companys quality standards.
• Coordinate with the operations manager to optimize resource utilization and minimize waste.
• Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of all machinery and equipment.
• Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance their skills and productivity.
• Monitor production costs and work within the allocated budget to maximize profitability.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement innovative solutions to increase production efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Textile Engineering, Production Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a production management role within the textile and fabric industry, preferably in a stitching unit.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
• In-depth knowledge of stitching production processes, machinery, and quality control standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
